The small copper oil line that runs from the oil pump up past the push-rod and to the center of the rocker arms is plugged solid. I am wondering if I can replace the copper line with something like an oil pressure gage line that is made of hard plastic.

For some reason, it has become very hard to find 3/16th copper tubing around here. I had the same problem when I was going too replace the vacuum advance line on the distributor.
