The shop manual seems to call for 1 and 3/8" bore size on passenger cars but every parts database I come across states 1 3/16" bore is correct. Is there an error someplace or does the 1 3/16" bore give better braking performance?

Thanks rus,
I forgot all about the spec sheets.

For some reason 1942-1947 Chevrolet Shop Manual states 1 3/8"
