dblclh Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: May 2005 Posts: 127 seattle, wa	peter, i just looked at my '30 coupe air cleaner. it is a grey, domed disk, maybe 4 1/4" dia. and about 1 1/4 " thick. there are many cut breathing louvers in the forward side (carb. side). it attaches to the aft side of the down draft carb. hope this helps. jim jf lewis

The difference is the '30 has the air passages on the carburetor side while the '29 on the back side facing the fire wall. How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
