Should doesÂ´nt really mean it is forbidden. But in the post from MotorOnPushnPop https://vccachat.org/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/144369/Searchpage/1/Main/23505/Words/carburized/Search/true/Re:_1937_tranny_problems#Post144369 he wrote "The shape of each tooth, the so called tooth profile is slightly different on the truck gears..." It seems that real car gears where not made by aftermarket suppliers. Tino

I read in the shop manual, that only 3/4 and 1 ton trucks had carburized gears.Cars and 1/2 ton trucks had normal gears. Is there a remark in the old Republic book that K222-1A W42A is for 1/2 ton truck? Tino
