I don't quite understand. Do you want a picture of the heater taken apart to actually show the motor? I have a complete heater that is out of the car and could send you photos of that if that is what you are after. Beamer

Have you checked The Filling Station or Chevy's of the 40's? These are the top two prevailing places to get old Chevy parts. If no luck there, try I & I Reproductions. Beamer

Do you have one of the 1938 GM Harrison heaters? There could be many other makws and brads of heaters installed. There is no real sorce of heater parts, you may need to search for another heater.

Like Gene says, you will have to do some searching. There are universal 6 volt motor suppliers out there, you will need to take yours apart and get measurements, etc, and search. Ebay has several vendors selling motors, but there are several variations. Whole heaters are usually sold in the $250-$350 price range, which can be better than paying $100 for a motor, $100 for this, etc.

When I get around to restoring my heater, I'll post info on where I got stuff.

Most of the time if the motor is frozen all it needs is oil. I use P B Blaster and a light weight oil. After soaking the two ends try turning it. (You may have to make a small hole in the end away from the fan end. Oil down the shaft on the fan end.) After it gets free hook a wire to battery and to ground. Should work like a charm.

There were two different heateers in 1938. A Deluxe and a Super Deluxe. The Super produced more heat.
The 1939 heaters were the same as 1938 except the knobs on the doors changed from a gray tone to biege.

My heater looks like green427's picture except mine has no defrost duct on the top. It come to me with no motor or fan. Hope to figure out how to post a picture.

Thanks all
