I am wanting to find out about 1 ton dually Panel truck I recently purchased. Did chevrolet outsource the building of the the wider rear fenders and running boards or was in in house? Any information will be helpful Thanks Lyle

The parts book does not list dual rear fenders or running boards for a 1950 1 ton panel. Rear duals are listed as optional for 1 ton stake and platform trucks.

The 41-46 body style was the last years for a Factory assembly line dually 1 ton panel, or pickup truck. Anything after that would be outsourced or Custom job done by a owner. Got any pictures you can post of it?
