Hi, I have a 29 Chevy, frame number 22 AG 1766, engine number R55 1795, brake with lever (not cable) and double cross shaft, brake shoes of handbrake external to brake drum, wheels with wooden spoke. I have to restore the engine, brakes and gearbox. I I have to buy the manual repair from the filling station. I have two questions? 1) Which repair manual should I buy: shop manual 1929-1929 (item code DG-121) or shop manual 1929-1930 (item code DG-117)? 2) What are the difference between DG-121 or DG-117? Thank you for your response. Saluti dall’Italia. Alfredo

based on the info they provided i have the DG-121 as it is Specific to the 1929 and I also picked up DG-A29
DG-A29 is the owners manual, like the book you get when you buy a car, tells you basic maintenance specs, etc...
also must have is FS-936 1929-32 MPL, this is the Master Parts list that list all the parts and part numbers for item on the vehicle. This is a parts bible !! I have this one and one for the 1929-30 only, use them a lot to validate parts and find the RIGHT part.
get all of the above !!
looks like DG-117 is for the 1929 & 1930 ?? not sure, never seen or had one of these. can not make out what the manual picture so can not read it. i have both a 1929 & a 1930 manual for reference, as well as 1928-1929-1930 Service News. all have helped me greatly !!
