I have a 29 Chevy.
I have demounted the rear wheels (for check the rear axle seals) and I found a surprise: I dont have the handbrake.
The inside of the drum is completely empty: ther'arent brakes shoes, spring, leverages.
Someone have an image of how it should be?

The brake parts that go in the brake drum are shown in the 1929 Repair Manual.

Hi Alfredodemo,

Like JYD said, you need to get the 1929 Repair Manual, and the online order should give you the shipping cost.
In the meantime, I found this picture of a 1929 rear brake:

You can get the shipping cost online with UPS or FEDX or the USPS . You will need the weight and value then choose the delivery service you want.

As one who has shipped many parts all over the world. FIRST you need to decide HOW FAST you need it, because that will determine the shipping method and its cost.

If the seller will ship by boat speed 6--9 weeks YES that's right, by SURFACE postal service is the most inexpensive. I have never lost a package boat speed.

Up next is postal AIRMAIL SPEED 5 days to 15 days.

The postal system in USA will also offer other costs on airmail speed.

HERE is is the whole problem === the item has to be boxed , the seller needs to make a trip to the post office to get the rates, THEN return home and advise you of the various costs.

You select from the various prices to ship and pay the seller.

UPS----- FED_X ----and others will be more money than postal.

I have torn my brakes down and rebuilt front & rear on my 1929, tons of picts as well.

1929 Brake Picts Here

the Repair Manaul, User Manual, and Service News are all very helpful and contain valuable info for ANYONE doing a Resto. can get them from The Filling Station, FaxOn Literature, and Greg's Online this is where i ordered most of mine, better deal for me...

Not that I endorse this as I try to support suppliers with storefronts (though most now sell on line), it might be easier to by the manual off of eBay as most who sell there have the shipping costs and they ship to many countries already. Not sure if a parts manual is available on eBay but it's an idea.

i actually acquired a Master Parts List 1929-1930 via ebay. love that manual as it is only for 2 years !! easier to find part numbers for my 1929.
