I am looking to replace my steel windshield frame with piano hinge on my truck because it is all rotten . I have found one on the filling station catalog that is the same width as mine but mine is 18 9/16 inches tall and the one they sale is 15 1/4 inches tall. This windshield is on the truck since my grandpa buy it 40 years ago . The guys from the filling station told me the proper size for 29-32 truck is 15 1/4 inches tall , but it does not fit on my truck . Is somebody has ever see 18 9/16 windshield or it should be 15 1/4 !

Hi,
Possibly your truck body is from another supplier other then Chevrolet. There were many manufacturers of truck bodies and they were supplied to most manufacturers. There was a truck body manufacturer call Smith Brothers in Toronto during that era and I believe they operated up until the 70s or 80s. Maybe you have a Smith body on your Oshawa built Chev.
