Tomorrow I am picking up a 1950 Styleline Deluxe four door. Original paint, interior and drive train. I will post pictures when I get home and figure out how to do so.
Get ready for a barrage of questions.

The plan is to keep it as original as possible and still be able to use it for a daily driver and maybe some short trips.
I have hit a small snag with the title but I hope that is resolved soon.

The last interior picture is not my car. However mine does have an almost mint interior . The exterior pictures are of my '50. I am the third VCCA member to own thiss car. The first time I saw it in 1981 it had 18,000 miles. I bought from the second owner in 2001 with 36,000 miles. It now has 56,000 miles as we did a lot of traveling with it up to 2008, not much after that due to my wife's health. Plan on taking it to Michigan for the 6 Cyl. tour in Sept.. Paint and interior is original.

That off white car is the year, color, and number of doors my Grandfather had. His first one was a black 4 door 49. Why I bought a Styleline as a tribute to him and the fun we had in that car.
Brew, the last picture of that really nice green interior, is my car FYI.

As noted above, the last picture is not my car. I have a standard production steering wheel and NO DICE.

Yes, I worked for Yunker from when I graduated in 1950 through 1958. Was to be a summer job. At that time (1958) it changed to Cosgrove Chevrolet. In 1971 Bill Cosgrove moved to Florida and it became Pat Long Chevrolet. He screwed-up a good business and I quit in 1977 (was parts manager) I took on a Mac Tool frachise. Went with Matco in 1979 when the two tool companies split-up. Retired in 1997 and have had a part time independent tool business since. A former mechanic (started his own repair shop) had the Yunker tag hanging on the wall in his business, I asked for it and he was glad to see me have it. He bought a new 1950 when I first started. I drove probably over 100 new 1950 Chevrolets when they were new. Some fresh off the truck and some customer cars and some doing dealer trades.

Thanks Gene, the dealer tag I.D. certainly fits the formal beginning of your Chevy career.

Both VERY nice. Makes my 1950 Styleline deluxe 4-door look sad, but then what does one expect for a yard sitter for 15+ years before my rescuing it. and yes pics will eventually follow with mine also. congrats on both of them. I am in the process also of looking for 1) correct steel windshield visor, 2) Fender skirts, 3) front gravel guards, and 4) a new butterfly wheel, or at least some place that will rebuild the entire wheel ring, that plastic has deteriorated and cracked off over 60% of the wheel.
