Guys, I was in San Diego last weekend and came across what appeared to be a very, very original '54 3100 series. It had what looked like an optional clock that fitted between the speedo and gauge housings, stuck out about 2" and was in a bullet shaped design, perfectly fitting the contour of the dash...was this ever an option on this truck? If so, I will be interested in keeping my eyes open for one for my truck which is the same...any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob.

The accessories part number for the 54 truck clock housing is 986960. It is similar to the 51-52 passenger housing. Don't be fooled by look -a-likes.
As Ray stated they are getting scarce and expensive.
