Hi Everyone...just came back from looking at a 1952 GMC COE...completley there including original cardboard headliner. It also has a pushbutton original radio; very unmolested truck,
no rust or body damage at all...only missing part of the front grill. Has a flat bed on it right now; any ideas on worth. Or perhaps even the radio alone? Also, would this engine be pressure fed or have the babbitt bearings?

Thanks for the feedback...

Bob

Don't try to stock any model except Chevrolet. When you have over 500 Chevrolet radios on the shelf you get kinda picky.

Hi Guys! The guy has not called me back on a price for the '52 GMC COE...but, could this have had bearing inserts this year in the Jimmy line?

If it all comes together, I would prefer to keep the stock engine; if they had inserts I may reconsider depending on price?

Experts out there?

All GMC motors of that vintage were insert motors. The engine serial # will start with the displacement i.e. 270 or 302, 228, 248 etc.
