I've been looking for a shop manual for a friend's 1951 Chevy passenger car that he's restoring. I've seen quite a few 1950 / 1951 supplements for the 1949 shop manual, but no manual specific to just the '51. Was there a dedicated 1951 shop manual or do we need the '49 with the '50 / '51 supplement?
Thanks,
-Bob

When the new shop manual came out for 1953 it included all the years from 1949 thru 1953.This is a good one to have as it covers the up-dates made during 1951.....Its also available as a 1949-54.

The 1949-54 version is available in reprint for $20 from THE FILLING STATION :)

DdeuceMan. Don't forget to send a US Quarter, they probably would take a Canadian Loonie or a Twonnie!
