Paul
I made a cart out of some 2x6s that followed the sills to support the body through all the body work & paint. 4 of us picked it up & put it on the chassis after it was painted.

Mike
I get more done if I work by myself. Sheri helps if it's a 2 person job but mostly it's just me....Joe

Thanks Joe. I have my body off, on a frame and are about to prepare for painting and was contemplating whether to paint on or off the chassis.I will follow your example.

Looking good. You are almost there. Keep up the good work. Few get to climb the mountian all the way to the top and finish a project like this. Keep going, you will get there!

Beautiful rare car joe. If I recall, only about 1907 or so were built. I sold a 33 mercury RS coupe 26 years ago when we adopted my son. I missed it so much I searched for years and finally found my current 33 Eagle (early production) RS coupe.

It's nice to see the car being preserved. It looks great.

Thank you. Seat went to the upholstery shop yesterday & the painter said I should have the front sheet metal by the end of next week. My inventory of running board mats should be here in a week or so also. Lebaron Bonney is restoring my rear shade so thing are coming together....Joe

Today I snapped a bolt where the ball housing bolts onto the tranny. :(
I finally got all the leaks resolved and my tranny is no longer gray but the propper black. Just about got the bolt repaired, came in for a cup of coffee. Turned on the computer to VCCA forum. Reading this post was great and your pics are motivating. I am pointing out how labor intensive these projects are. As we will all agree, it's all worth it. Great photos. Thank you.

Totally. Working on my trucks is my therapy and, in the long run, is cheaper than going to a therapist. At least, that's what I tell my wife.

I've had to explain that to Sheri. She says our grandson can help when he gets older. The shop is my escape. I seldom have anybody help because that's my time to think & work with my hands. My therapy...Joe

Looks neat with the Red Wheels. Looks like it would run with a Coil.

I'm trying my best to get it done. I'm supposed to meet the family who bought it 1955 at Tahoe. They live in the Seattle area & the car was sold new in Cle Elum Washington. The car was never supposed to leave the family but accidently did. The lady & her son are on my Facebook & watch the progress. They are happy I ended up with it. So...I have a mission.....Joe

I would shorten or clamp the fuel line going to the pump. The vibration coule cause it to brake.

Spent about 8 hours assembling the grill shell & components. Re-cored the radiator. Got a NOS grill mesh some years back. Emblem Magic re-cloisonné the original emblem. Steve from the Filling Station let me use some of pre-production wire on brown hood lacing...Joe
