I just took my car for the first ride in a long time and I have a leak at the heater valve. There is a "plunger" or diaphragm that I not familiar with that is leaking. Does anyone know if this is repairable and if parts are available? I hate to replace it unless I can find a NOS part....

fillingstation.com sells a repair kit or they have a rebuilding service. See their online catalog.....

Check with Joe Hudacek. 6606 Banks Ave., Superior, WI 54880
He specializes in heater valve rebuilding and can rebuild your valve at a modest price. He did mine and was fast.

Thank you both for the information. I bought the part from Chevs of the 40's and I am planning on rebuilding.
