Where does the forward end of the clutch spring attach?

Beginning at the linkage where the clutch is adjusted move forward to the front of the car along side the frame rail. Approximately 10" from the above location there is a hole in the inside of the frame rail. Two pieces are needed. The return spring and a piece of stiff steel wire bent with opposing hooks on the end. The steel wire hooks into the hole in the frame and onto the spring, hope this helps. talk talk

Thanks glyn...I tryed to streach the spring to the hole w/o the wire and couldn't make it.Your info should help.I'm sure some of my question might sound dumb,but I'm trying to put this car together from parts I put into boxs 10+ years ago.
