As I prepare to begin the serious portion of the restoration on my Phaeton I'm looking to see how many 1933 Master Phaeton owners are active on this site or are in the club. I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to see many pictures of your cars too and maybe even take a trip to meet with you and see your Phaeton in person. Any within a days trip of NJ would be awesome.......so....who is out there?  Jeff

I only know of three 32 phaeton owners that are on here....most of the owners are not active.

terrill, do you know a trick to sort the membership roster by vehicle or a way to search through the member details?

Bingo......great responses as I had not thought about the delta between those members using Chat and those that do not.....next question too was in regards to how do you sort on the Member Roster as I don't recall ever seeing an index of Members listed by Year/Model. I know some other car clubs do this, even if just in their annual printed Member Directory......

If I remember the last printed membership list was prior to the 2011 Anniversary Meet. It was a limited printing and only available for sale. You might contact the Member Services to see if they still have copied available. Even though at least 5 years old it may still be of some value as those vehicles don't change hands often. Even if sold the current owner might be obtained from the person listed in the roster. Also VCCA members can send in an ad for the classified section of the G&D seeking information from owners of '33 Phaetons.

I do not remember exactly how far apart they print the roster, but they do not print every year...I think every 5 or 6 years. One is due to come out soon. Yes, call member services.

I have seen 3 1933 phaetons sell on ebay usa over the last 5 years. A real nice black and yellow one especially stands out. 2nd one think was a soft yellow. The 3rd one was an Australian built 33 standard tub , apinted 2 tone green , converted to left hand drive by I believe glen Stauffer of Georgia mike lynch

Thanks folks.  I think I may also run an add in the G&D to find those not here on Chat.....still love the searchable roster idea but can appreciate the time commitments of our awesome VCCA volunteers, as well as the need to prioritize what comes first, second, etc......until then.....please pass along my interest to any 33 Master Phaeton owners you know off. I had heard there was another here in NJ and I'd love to go visit..... Jeff

I saw an article on 1933 Phaeton by C. E. Holvenstot some time ago. Perhaps you can contact the G&D Editor for information. Another article on a 1931 was by Jim and Barbara Miller...but also I have no other info.
