tryed to fit oil seal skf164046 to the felt seal plates of outer of rear axles, flanges on axles crushes the sealing lip of the seal when fitted ,anyone know of a mod to make them fit?i have replaced the inner cork with a oil seal, maybe i will just replace the felt outer with new felt.

I replaced the rear outer seals of my '27 1 ton in 2014 with SKF 16406 seals. I don't remember having any problems.

All my best, Dean
