Check for a crack along the line of the keyway starting from one corner of the keyway before you buy! This is very common.

On a whim as maybe some 1929s came equipped with woods in Australia, I am looking for a 1929 rear wood wheel hub. Measures the same as 1928/1929 front wood wheel hub except it fits tapered axle. The 1928 and 1930 hubs are different. Maybe someone there has one?

Hi and greetings from New Zealand.
I have an elderly friend (no internet) who has a few 1920's Chevrolets and being a good man, loaned two carburettors from a 1925 and a 1928 Chevrolet to an acquaintance whose vehicle was not running well. (each carb is mounted at different angles?)
Once the car was running correctly the man sold the car and my friend never got the carbs back!
Do you or anyone you know have any carburettors?

Many thanks,
Ian McGregor

I have several original and rebuilt Carter carburetors. I will send a PM with more details.

How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
