A member with a 1935 Standard 2 door called me asking where the tools are stored.
The 1935 Standard had the battery under the right front seat so it's not that location.

In my Right Hand Drive 4 door EC sedan, the battery is located under the right hand seat, and the tools are stored in a well (recess) beneath the left hand front seat.

There is no well under the seat of my '35 EC Standard Coupe. There is some space under the seat but no specific location is obvious for a storage location.

My 1935 chev standard series EC 3 window coupe, has a tray about 1" deep and 12 " wide , that runs under the seat from drivers side to the battery box.

I removed the battery box and relocated the battery to a marine storage case in the trunk. I used a 6" deep lasagna tray in its place and installed the wiring control box in it.

Its definitely not deep enough to hold a jack so it appears.

I have one of those die cast 35 Chevrolet roadsters 1.24 scale, roughly 1/2" scale, forget name of famous maker. Anyway when you remove the seat cushion and the seat back to expose the underneath seat area.

VOILA, clearly cast into the under seat tray is : a hydraulic jack, a screwdriver, a jack winder handle, a pair of pliar, a large pipe wrench, a double open ended wrench , and another 2 longer items I cannot identify.

I am pretty sure that the car they die cast copied was a maroon and black fendered one from the VCCA tech for 35 standards who owned a roadster..
