Hi!

Your best bet is to take it to a good glass shop, most of them will not know how to deal with this.

So you need to pull the 2 sides apart to slide the glass out of the frame. Make it wider for the glass to slide out.

I know of a shop on the east coast that would be able to do this for you.

There is a silicone spray that tends to help with the release of the glass. After applying it and let it soak for a while use a flat thin medal tool , a spatula, to go between the glass and the rubber/cork in the frame. This will break the seal between the glass and the rubber/cork seal on the glass. Apply constant pressure to slide the glass out. An auto glass replacement shop has the tools and knowledge for this type of work. Be prepared to spend some time on this. Do not get in a hurry or apply excessive pressure as the old glass will break. (Some glass shops do break the glass to remove it.) If you are doing this yourself be sure to take all safety precautions.
