The frames were made by AO Smith. That's the date of the frame. Nice picture. I would try to duplicate those number before you do any restoring on the frame. It would be nice to see them there again...Joe

I intend to clear coat and cover the numbers before I repaint. They will be left behind in their original state for the next restoration guy to find.

I have the same numbers on my '36, Standard, Town Sedan..I also put clear coat over that area!
