Several large boxes of parts were included with the '32 Phaeton I recently bought. I've completed sorting them and have a few of them that I can't identify. #7 Base for a sport light. #8 Park brake boot #12 Muffler bracket #13 Spacer placed on each side of the bell housing and the frame. Use two bolts each side. Need additional pictures for perspective.

#1 is the heat riser plate inside the manifold. #6 is the locking stud for king pin
Would like more info from Ray about #13. Never seen that item. Is is used in the 4-cylinder cars? Early 6? What is the function?

#13 is used for sure in the 1928---possibility, that they were used in 27 (?). These two wedges(?) are used, one on each side of the crossmember fitted between the engine and bell housing. Each side gets two bolts to fasten the devices.

No. 13 is the wedge which is placed between the axle and the spring on both sides to adjust the steering geometry if you give the area with the raised lettering a buff it will say 1and 3/4" and the degrees probably 4. Thay were in my '31 I think from new. I installed them in another '31 to stop the dreaded shimmy.

Steve is wrong! Only a 32 Phaeton owner would know what number 6 is.
I can't believe some of these answers.
1. Is the heat riser from the 32 manifold, I would assume it was replaced in your car. 2. No clue as to what that is, it looks like something Larry made. 3. Not sure 4. Side mount hardware, the backing plate which is on the engine side of the firewall 5. Stud for the top pivot on a 32 phaeton, part sticking out of the body. This tells me you have a late 32 phaeton as they changed from a riveted stud as mine was to a nut and threads later in the year. Would like to brow this to make some for my car. 6. Someone’s attempt at making number 5. 7. Later spot light base, not 32 at all. 8. Clutch fork cover for 32 which I&I sold, not correct at all (Trash) 9. Cannot really see what this part is, looks like a drive shaft bushing 10. Again cannot really see this part, look like a step bolt which was used on the accelerator rod linkage. 11. Again cannot see what they are in this picture. 12. Part of your transmission mount 13. Front axle shims 14. Road side repair kit

#3: Looks like the pivot bolt used on the manual advance arm for the distributor. The bolt also used a spacer washer and a coil spring. #8: Reproduction clutch fork leather boot (see Brucie's description). #12: Part of a transmission mount. #13: Front axle shims. #14: Homemade wire clips.

Bruce, I agree with you on the ID of the parts. The dog added some accurate info too.
There are two different shoulder bolts on a '32. One on the block for throttle linkage. The other on the distributor advance/retard slot.
Also agree that the photos without dimensions make identification of some parts difficult.

Thanks everybody; that really, really helps. Since I've now heard from all three of the real experts on these cars, I figure I've got the straight skinny and will label them up accordingly. I appreciate everybody taking the time to have a look. Now I need to get back to the sandblast cabinet to keep cleaning up parts for the '31......... Again, thanks.
