Does anyone have a recommendation for someone to rebuild my transmission, differential, and torque tube for my 31 Chevy truck? I'm in southern Virginia but could use anyone in North Carolina or Virginia. Appreciate any recommendations you might have!

Thanks!

Rob

I don't have any recommendations, so you might have to be satisfied with just the one if no one else steps forward.

Have you checked with other members in your local area. It's also a good reason to belong to a local chapter if there is one near as many members do not visit the chat site.

I'm about 100 miles from you in Asheville, NC. I don't know of anyone in my area who does the kind of work you're seeking -- most of us just do that work ourselves. You could try one of the antique car restorers in the Shenandoah Valley -- there's one in Waynesboro and one in White Post, both of which have good reputations. Send me a PM if you want the details or would like to discuss it on the phone.

That would be "Chip", not "Skip".
