Does anyone have experience with the Simmons Super Power aftermarket carburetor(updraft)for a 27 or 28 engine? I could use some specs (float bowl setting, etc) at the least and rebuild parts would be great.

I have a couple around here somewhere. Never tried to use one. The original Carter works well so am not motivated to try one yet. Don't have spare parts or specs.

According to a F**d discussion forum, the Simmons carb was used on Model As and Ts. Below is a picture and here's where the discussion is: http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=91219&showall=1 Cheers, Dean ![[Linked Image from i193.photobucket.com]](http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z59/Timsmodelaworld/Simmionscastironcarb.jpg)
