I have a 1919 D5 model chevy in which I want to put one of the V8 engines back into it. I have a four cylinder engine in it now. If anyone knows where a complete V8 1917-1919 engine is located please let me know. Phone is 757-771-2111. call anytime.

Hello Redduke,

So there is a section for Model D's where you might get more response about your post.

I find your post very interesting. So you have a Model D with a 4 cylinder engine in it right now? What engine do you have in it? What car do you have and is it one that is known about? Meaning is it on the roster which the owner of Model D's keep?

Also I find it interesting that you say you have a Model D and it has a 4 cylinder engine in it currently. Are you sure it is not really a FA or FB that you have? Do you have any pictures?

And just for your information, I happen to have a Model D. I have a D4.

Thank you,
Bruce

There was a 1917-19 V-8 displayed at the Pioneer Auto Museum in Murdo, South Dakota. Last time I was there the owner told me that it was sold to someone in Florida. Might contact the museum to see if they would give you the name of the buyer or contact him on your behalf.
