(1) tell your wife that you love her
(2)Figure out exactly what you can or can't do
(3)make a realistic cost estimate
(4) DOUBLE IT and add 50%
(5) look at your tools and work area
(6)Go for it!
(7) Make sure and leave time for your family

I am going to grow up someday!

Welcome,

Not necessary in this order, but purchase a digital camera, Service Manual, and a Owner's Manual. The two manuals can be purchased in reprint and will be economical and you will have a tendency to take it into the garage with you and actually use it.

Gather up several boxes and zip-lock bags.

If you run into any type problem, bring it to the forum for an answer.

Good luck on your project and I think you will enjoy it.

build a new garage twice as big as the one you now have and install heat,AC, mens room and a slot in the door so the wife can occasionally slip food through it and in a couple of years you can bring the car out.
