Well, I don't know where you can find an original rear window to chrome plate but I just manufactures 5 rear window frames and the wood will be ready in a few weeks. They are made from 403 Stainless steel plate. If you want the look of chrome they can be chrome plated. I plan to just polish one up for my car. I plan on selling the extras for $250.00 each. If your interested call me at 805 484-0907

there is a 1932--38 chevrolet roadster/touring rear window frame on ebay usa. Think seller is 356king in California.
I BELIEVE ITS A GLEN RARICK REPO MADE BY BUTTER BROS HERE IN CANADA. Does not have the 1/4" thick plywood backing.

Don't buy it, it will be too heavy for the top and it will sag over time. You want something light weight like pot metal. Also form the looks of it, it is a very bad cashing job and would require a lot of money to have it plated correctly.
Also, just a side note, the original wood was NOT plywood. It was solid wood.

Bruce,
What are the proper dimensions of the original 1932 frames.

I don't know about '32 but '31 used two straps from the rear bow to the top of the wooden inside frame to keep the window frame from sagging.
How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
