Hi all,
I'm working on a 1937 Sedan Delivery (diamond in the really rough)and have been reading through the forum trying to gather a plan, lots of great info here. The car was in pieces and sitting for many years without glass so very little parts other than the body and frame. There is some rust and the back door wood is half gone and wood door jam support is entirely missing, anyone have a template for the jam or parts? I was also trying to find out if the doors for the sedan delivery and the 4 door sedan front doors were interchangeable. The driver door is workable but the passenger is pretty rough. Any help or tips would be great.
thanks!

Uses the same doors as a 4 door. Also 1937 and 1938 doors are the same.

I also have a 37 SDDL that was in rough shape.
I can email photos of what I did with the rear door.
My Email address is: <c1937@znet.com>.
Here's a list of vendors I like to deal with.
(Your SDDL is a Fisher passenger car and not a Martin-Parry truck.)
They are all very halpful even if they don't have the part you need.
Avoid Chev of the 40s. They advertise heavily. They sent me a GMC starter instead of Chev. Then charged me postage both ways and a restocking fee and insisted they sent me the right part.

Antique Auto Supply in Arlington, Texas does not exist any more.
Because of health problems Stacy Brown sold his business and all of the parts were shipped to another State.

I appreciate the links and help so far, I've been reading about the differences and parts available for the 1937s in general. On Friday I dropped it off to be blasted and epoxy primed, most body parts went down except passenger door, running boards, front fenders and light cans. I'm sure there will be new rust holes when it comes back but that's to be expected. There was no running gear and very little interior so a resto mod is the way its going to go but I plan to keep the exterior as stock looking as possible.
thanks for any replies
