Generally the stain is deep into the white rubber and can not be removed. Wesley's Bleach White is what I use. If that dosen't help nothing will (that will not harm the rubber)

Thars what I used when I was a kid and there were no commercial W.W. cleaners. I had white walls on my OX cart.

I use Wesley's Bleach White but the SOS pads work on really stubborn stains. Never used anything on my ox cart....it had wooden wheels!

I've used SOS pads since the 60's and would recommend them, too. Even used to use them on red-line tires.

An SOS pad is a small pad that looks like steel wool and it is impregnated with lots of soap. When the SOS pad is dipped in water the soap is activated and the pad is used for scrubbing pots and pans and lots of other stuff. SOS pads have been around for many decades. Go to your local grocery store, look in the area were they sell cleaners and etc. and you will see a box that says "SOS". There are multiple SOS pads that come in the box.

The SOS pads are very fine 00 steel wool. More coarse steel wool or a wire or brass brush shold not be used as the dig into the rubber. I use a plastic bristol vegtable brush along with the Westlys.

Just to clarify, the SOS pad is unrelated to the stuff they used to serve us in the Army.

The S--- on a shingle maybe would have cleaned the white walls better.

That's what the SOS means when using them in the house. It means Scrub Our Sh!+ out in the garage.

Thank you for the reply! Believe it or not they call them here "steel wool soap pads" and that's what I use 😜

"Oil Eater" works better than most WW cleaners.
