I am looking for 4 additional G12 AC Spark Plugs for 1931 Chevrolet. Does anyone have any for sale or know were to get any. Any condition acceptable. I was thinking if an old engine is lying around it may have some that could be used.

Please advise Don Andersen

I probably have 12 AC-G-12s for sale. They were "reconditioned" by a professional spark plug rebuilding service many many years ago. They look and would function as brand new. I will need to check AFTER this Thanksgiving weekend is over.

Feel free to send me a PM.

Hey Dave, I would take the balance for the Phaeton.....can't wait for someone to Judge it and try to say you have the wrong plugs! croc

If your Phaeton was made after February of 1932 you will need to use G-10 plugs instead of G-12 plugs.

What plug came in early 30 cars. My 1930 was built in February.

Hi oldchevy30,

So I read your question two ways, but I think your asking what plugs were used in 1930 correct? And that would be G-14.

If I remember correctly, and I know Skip or Chip would correct me if I'm wrong.

1929 G-14
1930 G-14
1931 G-12
1932 G-12 Until late Feb
1932 G-10 March to end of production

Yes you answered my question. Thank you. Do you or any one else have some? I'm planning on showing my car at the 55 anniversary meet and I'm trying to make the as correct as possible.
