Sometimes have a little Problem with the Parts Catalogs from chevy.
I have three catalogs
1)Master Parts Price list 1929-1940
2)Master Parts Catalog 1929-1950
3)Chevrolet Master Parts & Accessories Catalog 1929-1957

For Example lets take 0.293 Bolt, Cylinder Head for my 1940 KA. There are long and short bolts in the head

1)838821 … ½”-13 x 3 1/16” … 1937-40 … 8 pieces (long one? Nothing!)
2)838820 … ½”-13 x 3 1/8” … 1937-50 … 8 pieces (the mass changed??)
838820 … ½”-13 x 4 1/2” … 1934-50 … A.R. pieces ???
3) 3835743 -½”-13 x 4 1/2” … 1934-57 … A.R. pieces
3835744 - ½”-13 x 3 1/8” … 1937-57 … A.R. pieces

Whats wrong there? Which Number / Mass ist the right one?

They are all correct....numbers changed.
"mass" not alwys correct due to being used on different models.
