The 1949-53 wheels are the same,1954 does not have the hub cap clips but has the bumps on the hub to hold the hub caps on.

Chevgene, Are the 48 15" wheels the same as 49? They have the clips for the cap.

The 1948 wheels have six bolt holes-the 1949's have five. The 1948 six bolt wheels (15 inch) were used on 1948 cars only. Were also optional on 1/2 ton trucks in '48-'49 but seldom found on them.
