I took the '31 to the first show since I purchased it and someone there told me I should get a hood prop to keep the hood up for shows. I could not picture in my mind how he was describing it but he got the idea across as to what it accomplishes.

Does anyone have a pic of what they are or how they work? Or maybe the installation instructions. It sounds like it is a great idea.

If you need to send a pic instead of putting it here, professor_km@juno.com

Thanks.

I installed one on my Landau last summer. Love it. It lets me keep both sides open at the same time. But-- the hood is just a little bit lower when it's propped open, so you might hit your head on it occasionally. Don't ask how I know.

Go to TFS
Look for part VT-41.

Good luck.

Yep....and it also protects the paint on the hood when the hood is open.

I found them in the catalog for the Filling Station - I am not sure how they work. Does anyone have a pic of them in place open, so that I can see? Thanks.
