There is some very serious rust repair a wonderful gentleman is doing on a 53 convertible. Taking great pains to keep it all as factory.
His story is over a 100 pages with total and then some pictorial documentation. Took 3 nites to read it all. Doing wonderful work on this 53 that must have sat in a river as all floor pans are toast and lower panels. He fabs almost all the parts himself.
Be careful reading his story because you will get hooked. I believe the car will be mostly stock and he is looking for a better frame. Here is the link if you are interested. I apologise if this has been posted before or may be deleteed for not being appropiate, Bob.

This is a very interesting restoration story. It does take a long time to view especially with a slow internet connection. It's amazing how this guy can fabricate intricate sheet metal parts in his basement with a few tools.
