Anyone ever hear of one? A guy on Facebook has posted a picture of one, and claims that GM made 10 of them. Is it an Australian thing? He's going to check for a body tag, but I've never heard of this...

If you look close where the hood (bonnet) and front fenders (wings) meet the cowl, it doesn't quite match.
If you look thru the right door window, there are 2 rear windows. This was common on Holdens from 1935 - 40.
(There are no 41 or 42 Holdens due to WW II.)
Fisher made Coupes and Coaches in this period. Holden only made a sloper. (Fast back with folding rear seat.)
I'm guessing the body is from an earlier Ute. (Coupe Pickup or El Camino if you only know Fisher body Chevys.)
Good luck, Lou

Can you give us more detail, Gene? Were they custom ordered? prototypes? Are there any pictures from 1940?

Damn, I was hoping there was some truth to it. Now I'm hoping the Aussie angle works out...
