Thank you for this forum.....I have two GM parts that i cannot find out info on....Both are NOS.....The first is in a box and indicates GM 1-543644 Gear Package....It includes a pinion and ring gear and three quarts of GM gear lube......The other is about eight or so pieces of a GM trim kit....GM # 475551.....Any info would be greatly appreciated and thank you for the use of your forum.........David

In my 29-38 parts book it list the 475551 as replaced by 594447 which is a "spring and cover assy".

543644 is a ring gear and pinion for a 1959-1963 Oldsmobile except F85. 2.69 ratio.

I live in Charlotte and I am from Charlotte.Its a great city however there are a lot of growing pains!...You have a great forum and I am very grateful for the responses to my parts question.I came across some GM parts at an estate sale in Stanley and would have never found out what they went to without the help.Thanks to you all!......David
