I have a rectangular clock in the glove box door, white hands and numbers. Inside the glove box there is a wire with a bulb socket that fits into the back of the clock. I dont see any other wires coming into the glove box or out of the clock. The clock has a single knob on the back. When you push it in you can set the time. I haven't dug in any farther into the clock - should there be more wires or is it a mechanical clock? How do you wind it?

Originally owned by my Great Grandfather. Restored by my Dad. Now up to me to keep it going.

Hi;

There are three wires. A black one that is the light socket wire. It is connected to the light switch so the clock light goes on with the rest of the dash lights. Then there are two tan wires. One of the tan wires is for power and has a fuse-holder with a 6 amp glass tube fuse. It connects to constant hot terminal on the light switch. The other tan wire is ground. All three wires enter the glove box in a loom at the lower left side of the glove box.
