Are there different rims for spoked wheels vs steel disk wheels?
My spare rim is different than ones on other 4 wheels. Same diameter but valve location is not same.

You may have a FXXD rim?

The plot thickens!
I have never seen a Ford wheel rim that will fit a Chev. They have a different mounting bead on those that I have seen and will not fit.
Regardless of my ignorance, you may have a Willys Overland or Rugby(Star) rim because they too used identical Hayes Felloes to the Chev, or was it that Chev used the same as them!
I have a '24 Overland and its rim pattern is identical to my '25 Chev and interchange perfectly. I am not sure about the valve position on earlier Overlands other than they definitely used 30x3 1/2 rims too. Several rims I have are drilled with two valve holes so it seems swapping around was common what ever vehicle they came off.
One rim has a valve hole blanked out with a large flat head rivet. These days it is an easy matter to weld it closed.
Lucky me, because the Overland was also available with straight sided 4.40x 23 Balloon tyres of low pressure which is what I am fitting to it, as well as converting the Chev. Not sorry to see the end of those Beaded Edge monsters that ride as hard as a dray and skid/bounce all over the place once road conditions get even slightly choppy. Drive a '25 Chev then a '26 which is essentially the same car other than Balloon tyres. You would hardly credit that they are the same vehicle, such is the improvement.
