I have a 4 speed truck transmission casting # 591907 . What is it from ? Not in my 29 to 53 parts book ! Thanks

Rember that they made replacement castings several years after the car's year to replace broken parts. Like '36 was remade in '38 and '40 etc. Each replacement had it's own number. It was for your year only made/cast years later. I am thinking you need to look in a parts replacement book for that maker.

My 1941 parts book shows the 591907 as being for a 1040 and 1941 4 speed with drive shaft brake and lock ring for drive shaft equipment.That part number was removed on 6-1-48. Doesn't say what number replaced it but there are many versions of the 1929-1947 4 speed cases.
