Took my car to it's first official show today. Couldn't make the VCCA regional show 4hrs away so I at least attended a local one at the Fall River Rod and Gun Club in Westport MA. I want to thank everyone here on VCCA chat who have been so instrumental in me finishing my car car correctly. Some of them have even helped me locate or supplied me with parts I didn't have and needed or repaired parts I had. It's those people like Chipper, JYD, Gunsmoke, BearsFan15, Bill Barker, Hardaground, and others I've probably forgotten to mention. I would especially like to thank Bill Knapp who really helped with all his experience and pictures of his own 31' from the very start of my restoration. I would like to thank my brother, my neighbor Scott(polisher/plater), my buddy and extremely talented painter, Moses, and my wife for putting up with my constant absence to the garage.
The show today consisted of only about 40 cars but I came away with two firsts, show promoter's choice award, and best of show.

Way to go !

Better start building a cabinet to hold all those things.

As a fellow New Englander, how about a list of shows you're going to next year so I know which ones to avoid. I'd like to win something somewhere, jeeze. laugh laugh

Congratulations Ted! We're all here because we love the cars. I tried to help to pay forward for all the help I got from these great guys! It was a pleasure.
