I have a 1930 roadster pickup, don't know if the seats are the same as a 1931. My seats are split, I have the dimensions of the 1930 seats.I am involved in a local swap meet for the next several days, so it would be several days before I could forward the dimensions if they are the same as 1931.

Great,if I could get the dimensions,Chris at Snyders spring shop said he would make them up for me..he only needs the thickenss of bottom spring front and back(riser slopes 2%) and the width/length for 1 bottom...if any chance, similar width-length and thickness for the spring in backrest(only approximate is fine) would get the backrest made...also,any chance to get a pic of 1 of the seat bottoms to get a handle on how the seat is configured to nestle into the seat bottom and not move around..I can send a PM with my e-mail address...Vic Chartrand,Ottawa,Ont.,Canada

Slightly offset probably wasn't correct....found a interior pic of a truck cab in Pages book which shows split seats but no apparent offset...these were trucks and not much was put into creature convenience or comfort..even the pleats aren't padded, the seat padding amounted to stiff horsehair so springs didn't impale your butt but not very comfortable.....

Seat springs are available from:

Car-Line Manufacturing & Distributing Inc
1250 Gulf St
Beaumont, TX 77701 - View Map
Phone: (409) 833-9757

The 1930 springs are not the same as the cab is narrower than the 1931.

Seats Found....located an original 32 pickup and got full dimensions from that trucks original interior...seats are quite sloped and narrow in at the top edge...also-there is a set of 3 cleats welded to the spring set that prevents the seat from moving around in the base-backrest spring is also sloped to fill space behind the seat base-now to get them made up.....
