first, thanks for all the help on the visor! Next question, does anyone know where I can get my hands on the door lock plungers ( for lack of a better term), the rods which rise from the locking mechanism inside the door up through the window sill molding and have the rubber/ plastic knobs attached to them as to lock and unlock the door? I believe the locking mechanisms inside the doors are all intact but have no pull rods. Any help would be great.

Thanks

I built my missing ones from a piece of steel wire the same diameter as the holes in the plunger caps (plastic caps that thread on after the window sill is in place).
Just put a right angle bend at one end and a slight bend half way up to match the groove in the door then thread the end that passes up through the window sill.
Hope this helps!

Ah, what year model do you have? I'm in the process of restoring and I could take a picture of what a 54 looks like. Will this help?

DuDs50,
Did the pictures make it or have you had a chance to open them....sent 'em to your email address. Would have posted them here but was unsure of a location to post.
