I have a 28 landau with a missing valve cover. I purchased on eBay what I think is a valve cover from a 25 with the two holes. I drilled the hole in the center and mounted the cover on the engine. We noticed that the plug wires would not go over the cover and attach to the plugs. Any idea, I was told that the covers were interchangeable. Help

The '28 wires run through the valve cover in a rectangular conduit. So, the '28 valve cover has a notch on the spark plug side for this conduit.

Here is a pic and a video. The pic shows the right side of the engine with the wire conduit going up into the valve cover. The video of Monty's 1928, shows his engine with the valve cover off, so you can see the wire conduit.

Cheers, Dean

I'm pretty sure I can find a correct valve cover and conduit?? if you still need one.
