OP 49Bomb Grease Monkey Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 11 CA	Hello Chevy land, A few weeks ago I posted a wanted ad for a 1949 wagon and well I found one just 20 miles away from where I live. It's in really good conditions it even has the third seat which I heard it's rare to find one. And as far as I know from what the seller tells me I would be the third owner.If anybody knows how many of these were exactly made please let me know.

There were 2664 made which would make it very low production.There were 3342 of the wood wagons made.Had wood where the wood decal is on the steel wagon.Would much prefer the steel wagon-no rot and refinish problems. Check floor and floor to frame supports underneath for rust. Gene Schneider
