Well I have just purchased a 1938 Chevrolet 1/2 ton ruck. It is all there for the most part. But plan to replace cab and front fenders. So if anyone is interested in a 38 cab, front fenders and I have 2 extra hoods let me know.So if anyone needs parts let me know and I plan to update status soon on this truck once it is running. If there wasnt so many miles between us I would be interested in the front clip but shipping to Aus forbids that.
The main cab on your truck is quite different to mine. Where your cab has a "flat" top mine is rounded, On the cowl where the beltline divides mine doesnt have the straight ridge, 1 ridge rises and the other dips and the windscreen is fixed in place on mine.
These differences may well be due to mine being a Holden body not a US body.
I will need to get the camera going again due to computer and OS change, then relearn how to post pics.

What is wrong with the fenders and cab as they look much better then what I started with.

I was able to find cleaner original cab and Front fenders.
The front fenders are coated with A thick layer of bondo. Looking from the underside the only damage is in the front of the Fenders near the bottom. The Cab requires the Floor on the Passenger side in front of the seat. The Cab will also require metal replacement on both lower cowls driver and Passenger side. Other than that the cab is in good shape. If you would like pictures I can email to you. my email is jermaine@thebombshop.com

I could use a rough cab that has a straight back, mine was originally a flatbed and was used without the racks so the back was beat up. If I could find such a cab I would redo my cab but I am in Ohio and shipping would be a fortune.

If you guys could find a trucking buddy, that is "dead heading" (going back without a load) he would likely carry it to you for a fraction of the cost. You need to ask around. Sometimes for free!
