Hi,
I am restoring a 1938 Chev Master Sports Coupe. It has no weatherstrips on the main windows on the door (maybe it was some time ago.....)
I will use doors glass setting kit like 4074657F from Chevs of the 40s. But this does not prevent water to leak into between the window and the door. Does anybody know what kind of weatherstrips are used on the main door glass (in order to prevent water to leak into the door, between the window and the door from outside). What part is this at e.g. Fillingsation or Chevs of the 40s? I assume there should be some kind of weatherstreip here?
Thanks in advance!

There are holes on the bottom of the door for the water to drain out. No weather strip used.

Thank you!!
I think they who restored the car 30 years ago did seal those holes, so therefore rust there now. I will ensure to make holes there.
Again: Thanks!

Gene is spot on. You have the sweep on the outside (sometimes call whiskers) and three or four (don't remember exactly the number) of rubber spacers along the inside to keep the window from rattling.
