What is the dual filament light bulb for a 31/33 to head light?
Should I be lubing the front brake cables & if so, with what?
Thank you, Joe

The original bulbs were 21 cp - 21 cp # 1110. Replacement 32 cp - 32 cp # 1000. There now is a 50 cp - 32 cp available. I don't know that number.

If you really want to get technical most of the original bulbs were of the stepped design on the end of the glass bulb. Tungsol appears to be the majority brand. Mazda likely another. Likely at least one other brand.

I use boat trailer or marine bearing grease. It is much more water resistant than regular wheel bearing or chassis grease.

Joe,

If you look at the 1933 Plymouth forum you'll see an article on converting the OEM Delco generator to regulated using a Peterson voltage regulator. In that same article is information on 25/25 watt halogen bulbs. "Expert" opinion is that the ancient 3 brush generators won't power halogen bulbs. I tried those halogen bulbs in my '36 PU and found that the author of the Plymouth article is right that the old generator is indeed adequate. It's really nice to be able to actually see when driving at night.

Thanks for the info. I found some 1000s on e-bay. I think I have one of those step bulbs. Kind of reminded me of the group DEVO. I don't think I want to go halogen.
I guess use a u-joint needle to get the grease into the cables?
Thank, Joe

Howdy, working on the flywheel, thanks again. New set of questions. The bellhousing is # 836967 or 836867 bad casting number on mine. Do you have an extra bell housing for the 33?
My trans number is CM85554. Is that similar to yours?
The question in this thread about light are good information.
Thanks Don
