I am going to flush my 31 Rear axle and transmission. They were nearly dry.
I know 300w is the correct lube.
I put about 1 quart (until full) of 10W-30 in each. I have driven about 25 miles.
Should I drive some more before draining ??
Maybe I should drain and run straight automatic transmission fluid for a few miles ??
How to get the rear axle drained short of disassembling ? I can use my suction tool but still won't get all the crud out.

we discussed it here Prep for Maiden Voyage [Test Run] of 1929 and Trans fluid change

Also recommendation seems to be to Use WD-40 to spray and clean the gears up

And I know on my 29 I can pull the Bottom bolt and drain the fluid. I removed the cover cleaned it out good, even sprayed it out with cleaner, then new gasket, and bolted it up and filled it up with 600w from TFS.

Also read my posting above, plenty of details on what i did
