My transmission is a little fiddly to get in and out of gear for the first few miles, but once it has warmed up it feels OK. I don't know what oil is in there at the moment, but I want to change it for some fresh stuff. Any suggestions as to what grade I should use?

Gene has posted in all the years forums with the same advice. That was just the first one I could find. Yes, 85W140 in the '47.
